For the thousands of us Search Engine Optimizers, backlinkers, and traffic strategists out here on the net, our goals have and always will be to outrank and outsmart our competition.
Just think about all the things we do to come out on top…
There’s directory submission, article submission, social bookmarking, RSS submits, blog commenting, reciprocal linking, video submits… and that’s just for starts.
Now as for us progressive backlinkers – we’re always on the lookout for something a little more aggressive and automated than the old schooler techniques – but without degrading the quality of the Internet with flat out spam. If you’re like me and most others on that point – then you’re in for a treat.
As the hot new emerging link tactic, profile backlinking is proving to be one of the strongest, and recently most automated techniques on the block. Not only that, but it’s putting the notorious and indisputably abusive blog spammers to shame.
See, profile backlinks are your own personal section of the site, so they stay tucked so far away from useful conversations that most admins never know or care about it. Compare that to the obtrusive blog & forum spam comments… they don’t do ANYTHING but disrupt intelligent exchanges. So in my opinion, profile backlinks aren’t just a stealthy way of generating lots of backlinks… but also a way of being courteous to real people while doing it. :]
Sounds pretty good so far? Well as awesome as the technique proves to be, it’s USUALLY proves to be an insufferably daunting task afforded only to those with an outsourcing team or lots and LOTS of time on their hands.
Just take the acclaimed Paul & Angela backlink packets. Signing up and submitting links to only a dozens of their suggested profile sites takes the large part of a day. Forget it, right?
Well fortunately, some very recent software advances have made the exhausting task of manual profile creation a thing of the past. Enter the Sick Profile Maker.
If you’ve ever used backlink automation tools like Xrumer, SENuke, Autopligg, or Scrapebox (hopefully in your powers of good), you’ll immediately recognize the value of putting your profile creation and link submission on auto-pilot.
Usually to create a profile backlink you would:
- Fill out a long tedious registration form.
- Type in the annoying image verification, hit submit.
- Log into your email, search for the activation email, then confirm the account.
- Log into the new account.
- And finally populate the profile with your link & relevant info
My friends, those days are no more.
Sick Profile Maker will automagically:
- Sign up to lists of sites in bulk
- Solve the annoying image verifications (with your Bypass, Beatcaptchas, or Decaptcher accounts… usually ~$0.001 a solve)
- Automatically log into your email and confirm account registrations
- Submit your links and spinnable content to the account while link-wheeling to help snowball their value
- And will finally PING the final link results for rapid indexing
Included in the $20/mo software subscription, you receive a new submission packet in the beginning of each month. These usually contain ~30 more sites you can submit links to. They’re usually high PR sites (always 4+) that often seem handpicked the same way Paul & Angela have done with their $5/mo packets.
And when you’re done implementing all the packets Profile Maker comes with, just trot on over to the forums and pick up some new free ones. That’s right, free. A handful of guys actually come up with their own packets and post them on the boards – some contain more than 300 sites.
Also included in the forum is a buy packets section. These are where all the exclusive packets are found. Some guys will even limit the # of sales when releasing them. This keeps the sites from being oversaturated and preserves their value for the buyers over time. 1buckplr is known to do this and produces killer packets, for those interested.
Now onto my favorite part of Sick Profile Maker: the Tool Kit
This baby lets you create your own packets – and quite easily with the addition of the Wizard. As of writing this, the Wizard supports 5 types sites:
- Expression Engine
- MyBB
- phpBB 2.x
- SMF
- vBulletin 4.x
You can import a whole list of one type of site, and the wizard will sort through and create the commands and program code it needs to sign up on each.
The greatest part is you’ll never be limited to just those 5 types because the Toolkit uses a really simple programming syntax, allowing you to write your own sign up scripts for almost ANY site… while seamlessly integrating captcha solving.
For anyone with initiative and a little creativity, Profile Maker strikes me as a tool with enormous potential.
For now, I call it the atomic-automation bomb of my link building arsenal. Yes, it’s that powerful.
Here’s a quote from a cool dude on Warrior Forum:
In the past weeks and month, I’ve used a combination of iMacros and Roboform to accomplish a lot of what Profile Maker performs. As a result, I speak with a bit of experience as to what’s involved in automating the process successfully. It’s also the reason why when I first tried the application, I was genuinely impressed.
